Although not our favorite in the area, Pablo made this worth it for us. He was gracious to take us around to explain the history of the winery and you can tell he truly enjoys his job. The front desk host was not the most welcoming. If you wanted just a glass of wine, you were served at the gift shop instead of one of the many stationed bars they had which was very strange and not so enjoyable. Giving 4 stars as the wine didn’t stand out to me but the history and Pablo will be something I remember most.

Great experience at Ledson. Very friendly staff and nice wine. We ended up trying some samples at the marketplace before getting a bottle of Granache Rose. The wine was good! Nice picnic area to enjoy it with our friends. Plenty of space for kids to hang out and take pictures.

Ledson was by far my favorite winery that we visited this trip (🤫 don’t tell the others!) The grounds were pristine, the wines (especially the reds) were top notch, and it’s a beautiful castle without being overrun by tourists. We had time with Pablo during the tasting where he was able to give us more of the background of Ledson and the family and worked with our individual tastes to find the wines that we loved enough to buy! Overall, it felt like a more personalized experience rather than a tasting factory just pumping people out. Although off the beaten path of most itineraries, I highly recommend the detour!

There is an outdoor area that a kid could play while you taste. It's quite nice.
When guests visit Ledson Winery & Vineyards for a wine tasting, they are welcome to a selfl-guided tour of the Castle.

In 1997 the winery released its first vintage, the 1994 Estate Merlot, to broad critical acclaim and in 1999 Ledson Winery & Vineyards opened its door to the public.
