This is Funny $ 35 dollars for a appointment call. That lasted less than 10 minutes. LOL No way.!!!! Please make sure to tell NO if they just make an appointment for you without warning you that it will cost you! Not worthy

They administer financial help M-F during their hours of operation. They DO NOT however give to the same person on a once a month basis. Financial help can be applied for every 6 months I believe or once every 12 months. If you have a dire emergency like kids and a shut off notice...probably an exception to that rule... These people have heart, HUUUUUUUGE HEARTS and deal with a lot of rigamarole from the locals in need of which I am one and I can't say enough how much we really need, appreciate and live them ALL for the time, effort and LOVE they give us on a daily basis. Please, they need donations of items that we use in a regular basis. New, used and in between. But most of brothers of mine, they need love too. Give 'em your smile, b nice and bring them a flower from time to time. let them know that YOU appreciate them. God bless. P.S. FOOD FOR HOMELESS ONCE A DAY FOOD FOR NON-HOMELESS ONCE A WEEK. BRING I.D..
How gone no one responds? I’ve been calling for months and my application pending since last year
The best thing about this clinic is the offer several different types of help medical dental, behavioral health, and social services and if you need food the even do that too.
Go over now ... Don't wait
It depends on the situation, the person, the need.... But if they can't help you they can refer you to someone that can. You can also try at St Vincent de Pauls and Family Assistance Ministries as well. All three are truly gifts from God. Sometimes even the smallest bit of help is as huge to us as it is miraculous. Don't forget the gratitude and humility and you're all set! Good luck with your situation!!
They make the budget and leave it to you in payments and much cheaper than in other places
8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday for the Food Pantry. Earlier is usually better than later for the best selection but donated food may arrive at differing times of the day.
Yes they do but get there early before 8am to get in line to be seen by a counselor
They do help with bus passes. As far as I know its based on availability and the discretion of the worker you talk to. They are day passes.
Saddleback Church in north OC has a huge Center for the community anybody can go there and sign up and they have a very very large food bank and free legal help and a medical clinic Etc very similar to SOS and they can also give you other resources that you need printouts Etc you should check it out!!! And there's also another church somewhere in North Orange County that only helps North Orange County residents and has hotel vouchers and grocery food cards and stuff like that and I think also rental assistance and utility assistance I can't remember the name but it should be on a listing that you can get at SOS in Costa Mesa. Best wishes! ~{Mel}~
They are closed on weekends
So far I've never been put to sleep for any procedure I've done there. They make sure you're very comfortable during the procedure though.
I don't know... But I think I remember hearing that the fire dept and police dept do.
I don't believe so. It'd be best to ask them yourself though.
Good question
It's open but you should call them. For the food side, it's in-and-out no lingering. For the medical side, you might want to ask if they're taking walk-ons without an appointment.
SOS is always closed on holidays but are always looking for volunteers to help with the food distribution that is so needed
They do answer but it's usually better if you go in person. For the clinic they have 3 people that can answer phones, for everything else there tends to be one person unless you know someone's direct line. For the non-clinic side you currently go all the way to the back and you can go in at 7a during the week but the office window opens at 8a. For financial, they usually will put you on a clipboard for scheduling an appointment later... not necessarily the same day. For food you fill out a form, keep the part that has your number and turn in the larger piece back to the window or if the person who handed you the food form is still standing there, outside the window, hand it to them and wait.
Yes call make schedule an appointment. Or be early first in line. Much advantage in making appointment.
They might give you a voucher to get a new license.
No
Yes. The cost could be zero if you're eligible. You can call them or drop in.
Yes. Go to 2nd bldg, they will take info from.you, & it's done. Only problem when i did that was i was cleaning up glitches on credit rpt .. Listed (which hurt me) was st address was for multiple people ... i.e., implying i was homeless. Good luck.
Just to be a resident of OC. They'll want ID, but they won't turn you away!😊
They do and if not they can reffer you else where...There's also a non profit organization called Connecting Hands Orange County that offers a lot of help 😊 look it up online @Guadalupe Hernandez
Call
You are allowed financial help once a year thru SOS. . You may want to call ahead the same day you go to make sure the funds are available. You would need to make an appointment to see someone for this. Their are other resources available for utility assistance. They can provide you with a list of paces when you ask. Yes I have, and they will try and help you if they can. The people who work there care
