Windy City pawn shop does not follow COVID guidelines. Even though they have signs posted on there doors. Prior to walking in, you are to be buzzed inside(which we were) by the staff. We walked in wearing masks and as we noticed the two bigger gentleman were NOT. I asked them to put there masks on as the guy replies rudely ,”Do you work here?” I said “No, but I see you aren’t wearing your mask!” He said “I don’t have to wear a mask there are signs!” At this point I’m thinking to myself, there really isn’t a sign stating employees are exempt from the law. I was speechless at his response and disappointed with his so called “customer service” this store lost a good sale today because I needed to buy some TVs. I just walked out((don’t have time to argue with arrogant people))and google the next closest one. If you’re looking for a store that actually follows COVID restrictions, has friendly customer service and great deals go to TNT PAWN AND JEWELRY ON 19thave Avenue and Indian school! Wouldn’t even give one star if I didn’t have to. Smh lousy costumer service and that man shouldn’t be allowed to work with the public.

Best pawn shop in Phoenix Metro!!! The employees of a pawnshop really make up for a majority of a persons experience there. As they do in most places, but pawnshops a little more than average without having food or some sort of entertainment that they’re providing. They can really make or break your experience. The first time I went there I was in a bind and needed a loan. Story of my life. They were very professional and polite and gave me a great deal when I needed it. A few months pass and again I’m in need of some extra money. This time I go to three different pawnshops in the north eastern part of Phoenix and at all three of them The people were rude, disrespectful, and entitled. They also all insisted on scratching my ring even though we hadn’t agreed that I was going to turn it in to them. the price was absolutely horrible for a very nice 14 karat gold ring with a variation of diamond colors from white to chocolate. It weighed 9 g and all three of the pawn shops ranged between 120 and $180 for a ring I spent almost $4000 for new. Anyways I had remembered these guys and drove 30 minutes to get to them. Again without flinching they gave me a much better deal than the other locations but they we’re respectful, professional, and empathetic. For me that is huge and when in a situation like I was, your already feeling in the dumps, you don’t also need people demoralizing you that your trying to give business to.... Hands-down got to be the best pawnshop in the greater Phoenix area just because of the guys that work there.
