Where is our American Flag ? It's been way to long since it's been flying, if something is broke please fix it... yesterday was Memorial Day and that Flag should of been waving.... Thank you

Out for a nice paddle this morning and was stopped by harbor patrol. I paddle 3 to 4 times a week for over 15 years. These guys say where’s your life jacket. I say I wasn’t aware I needed one. I was told to turn around and get one. I said now that I know how about letting me finish my paddle and I’ll bring one next time. I was told no turn around now or I will arrest you. when I asked for a badge number I was told I tell it to you on your ticket if you don’t do as I say. So I start paddling back and these guys in their boat are following me less than 5 feet from me on my board and glaring at me. I said I’m heading back why do you need to follow so close it seems like you are harassing me know. Then they boated off. I’ve been paddling for years. I have never seen any signage stating wear your life jacket or have one with you while you’re paddling or we will arrest you. It’s funny that the review before mine the woman was assaulted and the harbor patrol let that offender go but threatens me with being arrested for not having a life jacket. Seems like this guys have priorities mixed up. Assault no detainment, no life jacket we’re gonna haul you in. Way to go Dana points finest 👎🏿

There's usually a physical address on the back of a parking citation to contest the citation in person from the agency issuing it. Have you tried reading the back?

Hi we're trying to rent a guest slip . We haven't been able to get hold of anyone. Do you know if the guest slips are available for the next few nights ?

Have you tried to contact the Dana Point Marina Company (949.496.6137) OR Dana West Marina (949.493.6222)?

Is there no swimming allowed inside the jetty along the breakwater closer to the mouth of the harbor, or is the restriction only where the signs are?

The only a legal place to swim inside the harbor is at the clearly marked swim area on the west end of the harbor. It is legal to swim along the jerries only outside the harbor in the open ocean.
