They have a therapeutic pool and hot tub. They offer various aerobic experiences. They have large locker room and family room. Wheelchairs and walkers are available for use in the pool via a ramp. The floors in the locker rooms have been resealed with an anti slip finish. The Hot Tub is waiting for a County Plumber to install a part so we can have lots of therapeutic bubbles. The spa is working and is a pleasure to sit in

I bring my dad here to use the pool for exercise. He is elderly/disabled and the setup they have here is excellent for people with disabilities. It's also just down the street from the assisted living care home he stays at, which is convenient.

Excellent physical trainers, several class choices From water to land exercise programs, yoga, water Ai chi, water aerobics, swim lessons for all levels. Warm WATER pool, with disability entrance to pool and gym clean locker room, friendly staff, I would recommend to any one needing physical activity and especially rehab for knee or hip replacements. All trainers have degrees and are all very motivating! Best and most friendly employees

It is heated, temperature varies from 91-93F. There is a large spa too. This time of year, the indoor hall from the locker rooms to the pool can be chilly! You may want to bring a robe or extra towel. The decks can be slippery so a water shoe is highly recommend. I use Aleader Men's Quick Drying Aqua Water Shoes from Amazon for $30 and get a couple of years use out of a pair. Pool hours and information can be found at: https://www.sjsu.edu/timpany/hours/

There are different fees for members and non members. Classes also have different fees. Call Timpany center for info.
The Timpany Center, a non-profit educational and therapeutic service center that serves community members through a partnership between San José State University Research Foundation (SJSURF) and Santa Clara County, remains closed. The center is working on a reopening plan and policies that follow State of California health guidelines and the California State University’s intended COVID-19 vaccine requirement. While the State of California and Santa Clara County have lifted restrictions, we are taking time to develop the process for the safe reopening of a facility that has been closed for more than a year. In addition to facility readiness, we also need to develop program schedules, hire staff, and coordinate with other building tenant operations. With most patrons of the Timpany Center falling under high-risk categories due to COVID-19, it is critical that we reopen when we can ensure the safety of everyone who visits the center. The safety and well-being of our community and the
You can find detailed information and pricing on their website. Note that if you're looking for a lap pool, Timpany only has one swim lane, with limited access at times for classes. The other lanes are for walking and class use. http://www.sjsu.edu/timpany/
