Beautiful lake with easy access and nice launch facilities for watercraft. Also plenty of beach front area for families, and other non motorized water sports as well as pets. Have not fished here yet but when it cools down I will.

Beautiful, clear, cool lake in the middle of the desert. Easy access from the 303. $7 per car to enter. Plenty of shoreline to make yours for the day. Buddy loved swimming in the cool water.

We really enjoyed our drive around the lake- seeing the water, cactus and wild burros. It's a lovely park with much to see and enjoy. The visitor center (Discovery Center) provides some good information background to the area in general and to the lake in particular. It was a cloudy day, but we were lucky to get bits of sun here and there, and we loved the views. We particularly like seeing the wild burros around the entrance, and we heard there are several hundred burros aroound the park. Our one disappointment was the marina restaurant was closed for 2 weeks for cleaning. Hope we can return when it's open and we have more time to spend around the park.

We really enjoyed our visit to the park. We stayed in the Roadrunner lake side for 2 weeks, one week each site. Site 30 next to host site and bathroom. The bathroom traffic was noisy as each time the door opens the thud sound reverberate into the RV. And 25 was a pull through about 50 feet from the bathroom with a back window view of the lake. No shade or table cover on this site. It faces the road so there is no real privacy but better view of the sunsets. Sites on the lake side with views of the lake have very good views of the water. The opposite side of this loop is the land side there are a couple sites down on the west side that are not paved but are much more private and great views of the sunsets. The loops mentioned above wil be closed Jul - ?? In 2022 for a complete re do of the water and electricity and paving of the sites. There are some fun hikes in the park we enjoyed a few of them as well as kayaking. We drove to the north side of the park and found a great hike to the high point in the park as well as fun kayaking in this area. Used the showers, they are clean with the exception of the shower curtains one was moldy. The shower heads are no good, you either get a body piercing water stream or a light spray that ends up too cold to be in. As well as they are timed shower, you have to press the button to get water and it lasts about 45 seconds. We camped at Lake Pleasant Regional Park in a Fifth Wheel.
