Worst location ever. Workers are lazy and don't even want to work. They don't even show up to appointments. And the security guard behaves like a correctional officer at max level prison. They should just close this place down. Nothing but a bunch of nepotism hires.

Don't know how this office function, waited for hours on phone and got hang up by their officer. Not once, not twice, but every time I called them. End up calling the el Monte office, under 30 minutes got pick up and answered by kindly and respectful officer. Unfortunately since my case is not with them, they can't help with my needs, they even called back to try find other solutions for my needs. Since the Alhambra office really don't like human interaction, they should just shut it down save the tax $$$ for other who willing to help.

I went to this office on a Wednesday morning shortly after it opened. The parking lot was full so I had to park on the street down the block. The Kiosk check-in was quick & easy —& I took a seat in the waiting room. I anticipated a wait so I brought my yogurt to eat & something to do. The security guard, Ms Ruiz, was spectacular. She was watchful & observant, friendly, assertive but not aggressive. She even offered a coloring page to 2 kids in waiting room while their mom was being helped @ the window. The clerk at window 5 was pleasant & efficient. She input my info & the reason for my visit & told me wait until my name was called. Eventually I was called & Ms Nunez escorted me to her desk. She completed my applications, answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable, pleasant & explained things clearly. She gave me a copy of the completed applications & additional info to keep —which included their office phone number in case I had any corrections or questions regarding my application. I was out of there in a little more than 1 hour with everything I needed done. It was quicker & easier than I expected —considering this was a government office & I didn’t have an appointment — & the people working there were an added pleasure.

You can schedule an appointment but also they attend walk in
I know what you mean
Good luck. Have to call in for appointments
Yes you can make an appointment they can also take the information over the phone
They aren't currently accepting walk-ins due to COVID. Call them to make an appointment and fill out an SS-5.
You need to call and schedule appointment
I think tou have to go to irs.gov/stimulus
You can always ask for name callback number and extension. They will never call you from a personal cell number. True they are working from home but they are connected to a system that records everything they will never ask you for full social security number to identify you . Hope this helps
Yes, I would like to set up an appointment for my mom: CHU LIN, That 2 check was missing for deposit into her checking account for so reason? She did received $ 600.00>on the 2nd payment of Stimulus check, but how to claim the benefit for none payment issues? Possible have to call IRS issues?
I understand that you really need current ID. Your medical insurance ID or school ID should work as additional ID, but you really should go to the DMV and get a current ID...
Try online, ssa.gov Or call 1-800-772-1213
I understand that you can because the kiosk asks whether you have an appointment when you check in. You don't really seem to need to though. I walked in several times and didn't have to wait long at all. DMV is far worse!
