Press Zero to speak to the operator, then it could be less of a frustration getting to the other line, especially having to hear that annoying music/instrumentals!! train your representative better, they’re at home in there pjs, what more do they want!!!?
The Woa (The Woa)
Can't call into a person. Which number? I don't own what they are claiming I own. They would know that if they looked up anything at all.

***EDIT: I've edited to 3 stars - I eventually was able to get through but only after pressing random buttons during the recorded spiel and then trial and error through a million automative trails. Once I got to a human representative he was extremely helpful, warm, and courteous. I give him 5 stars, but the automative system is nearly impossible to use. Each day I try to call and speak to someone and each day the automated voice hangs up on me after giving a quick spiel. Giving me no option to wait on hold or leave a message. I always call during business hours and I try not to call around lunch time. Super frustrating since I need to speak with them about an urgent matter and I'm currently not in California so I can't just waltz into an office. Really not even sure what to do in this situation since there seems to be no other number I can call. I'm disheartened and hoping this doesn't lose me money when times are already so hard.

I had a great experience and all my questions were answered. During the time I was waiting every person present in the office was helped. Everything is well organized. Make sure you have an appointment which should be made in advance on the FTB website. Come with 15 minutes earlier so you give yourself time enough for check-in

is there another location in the los angeles area besides the Spring Street field office?
Please give me the office address in Van Nuys
Need to payoff my balance tax owed
For locations look online.
You should call them and ask them
You have a better chance talking or chatting with someone online. Ftb.ca.gov. . The chat feature is way better. Calling will only have you on hold for a long period.
It's best to get the metro bus.
Hi Tina, I don't know if any of us regular Google users could help with that specific question. I can tell you that every time I've gone in to the office in person I get help quickly and painlessly. Plus you can get lunch somewhere downtown afterwards!
No one from the FTB checks messages left here. Check the website or call.
Yes
It takes a few weeks for it to show in their system. Same thing happened to me
FTB doesn't receive these questions. You can check their web site. To my knowledge, it depends on several factors including your income and expenses. From my experience its best to go into the office to get anything done. Best of luck
Lol! They don't monitor social media. You're lucky if they answer your questions in person. I feel you! We just spent a whole day there correcting their mistakes. Good luck!
You can go with tax preparers and they can help you or you can go to the office of FTB in person to ask.
Yes it's a scam. Don't give whoever calling any info. Call the tax board directly
Yes
Mail it to the address on the billing notice or to the address on the tax return. It should be Sacramento address.
You should call the FTB phone number. Call as soon as they open, I think it is 8 am M-F. They can better answer your question. Otherwise you may have a looooong wait on the phone
I think only check and debit cards, and there is a 2% fer for débit cards.
Only public office is at 300 South Spring St. Ste 5704 Los Angeles CA 90013
Go to ftb.ca.gov and you can pay there
For a business youll need an ss4 form issued by the IRS. For individuals, you'll need to go in person to the field office to have it reissued. Either way, contact the IRS-
I'm not the guy to ask. Sorry. You should call
