Loud noisy neighbors. Inconsiderate parking and driving. Can't find parking after 6:00PM. Our car was hit twice inn the parking lot from people trying to squeeze in tight spots. Also many people don't use their garage as an actual, ya know garage. Instead it's a gym, or hangout spot. The management does nothing with complaints. I had a work order for our stove in which the temp regulator must have gone bad because one of the elements when turned on would get crazy hot. Hotter that high would go, and both element rings came on, no matter which one you selected. It was a double burner one where you could have a small or large size element depending on the size of pot. Maintenance guy came up, checked it tried to explain to me how the burner was working and that it was working correctly. It was never fixed. We moved out. Complained to the front about him. Never wanted him back in our apartment again for any maintenance. Guy came the next time we called about something. Thumbs freakin up there... Noisy noisy noisy. Durning covid it was so bad we would leave on weekends to ouw friends place just to get away from the noise. Car alarms, people yelling and skateboarding under the carport. Our apartment faced the car port so everything just echoed. Just hated living there the last year.

Thanks to Tatiana and Alyssa's professionalism & welcoming help to get us situated in our spot, giving us a tour right before closing time, and helping us with a timely maintenance request! Some minor observations regarding paint quality, parking availability, and difficulty moving furniture in due to narrow staircase and awkward floor plan layout, but overall so far so good and happy being a new resident here

I have been a resident at Avila for 1 week at the time of writing this review. I will return to update it if anything changes. I had a really positive experience with the signing process. The leasing manager, Tyler Benson, was super quick to respond and so accommodating. I viewed something like 5 different apartments over 3 days and I even changed my mind and switched my apartment after selecting one and submitting an application. They also bumped up the availability date so that I was able to move in within 2 days of signing. There were a handful of other things that made the sign on process excellent, including a deposit discount, waived fees, and small things like the cable service calling me the day of signing my lease to get my internet set up rapidly. The modem was ready in my apartment by my move-in date, which I mentioned before was literally 48 hours later. I've had one maintenance request since moving in (a small thing related to kitchen plumbing) and it was resolved quickly. As for the apartments and complex, I'm very happy with it. The inside of every apartment I viewed was very nice. This is the most spacious apartment I found out of the dozen or so I viewed. The garage is spacious as well. I also just like the style a lot. The kitchen and trim is all very minimal and the ceilings are high. The noise is minimal. My unit is at the corner and faces a major road, but with the doors and windows closed, it's quiet inside. I can't speak to some of the other complaints as I have only been here for a week, but my experience so far has been very positive. Move out update: I lived here for about a year and had zero complaints. No unexpected charges or problems after move out either.
