Perfect place to take the family. There are many seats, and a small place to make a bonfire. There is also many trails, too many to explore in one day, so it's a perfect place to camp at aswell. Overall amazing views, and a very clean and well organized place, definitely recommend if you want to go to the mountains, and enjoy your time there.

Very nice quiet campground. Clean and well kept. Nice hiking! Cheaper rate with the intragency pass.

A well kept campground with only a few pit toilets, no water nor hook-ups, but I pulled a 30 foot fifth - wheel to the upper campground mostly used by horses. Nobody there all day and night. Friday started getting busy so we left. Peaceful place!

Questions & Answers

How late in the year is this campground open? We would like to go in September and October. Does it close? I noticed on the website it opens in May but doesn't say anything about closure.
