This is a good family place to camp. The rv sites are close to each other and there is only electric hookups. There isn't any water or sewer dump at the campground. The Prescott water treatment plant has free rv dump, I'd recommend that you use them.
TIME BANDIT
I was here coming into the memorial day weekend. A lot different from the last time. Filled with RVs this time. I guess its cheaper? This part is a dry camp, tent sites. I was surrounded by RVs and Trailer. Not pleasent or quiet AT ALL. 1 or 2 of them would be running their generators at the same time. This used to be a nice quiet campsite, not anymore!!! The day i was leaving the RV, right across from me started his RV and Onan at 4:50A.M. and that was after running it till 10:30, the night before. YOU WANT AN RV, THATS FINE, BUT PLEASE DONT COME INTO A DRY CAMPSITE AND START RUNNING ALL YOUR STUFF LIKE YOU ARE IN AN RV SITE. The site was almost full of RVs and Trailers the morning I left

Camped here before. It was nice. Just playing in the snow up here today
TIME “TIME BANDIT” BANDIT
Very nice campground, friendly hosts. Nothing fancy pull in spots, bathrooms, No showers. 89A is noisy during the day. But quiets down at night. Be very careful pulling out of campgrounds, the people driving around the blind corner of the campground and 89A are flying, faster then the speed limit thats for sure. Almost got hit the 2 times I pulled out. Not to bad if you are making aright but if you are making a left, BE VERY CAREFUL. OTHER WISE NICE PLACE TO SPEND THE NIGHT. See ya on the road.

Mingus lake is very small, more like a large pond, no boats, but is stocked periodically with trout. Just a short drive off the highway. Dirt road, but well maintained.
The place is very beautiful and you may like it especially if you set up tents but you have to clean up after yourself when you leave
Currently, yes they are. The sites have designated metal fire rings and fires are allowed.
It was not open last weekend when we visited. Dispersed camping in the area was. Restrooms and trash bins were also locked down. It could be open by now, but I would contact the forestry service to get an answer.
Yes. It's a very clean and beautiful camp ground. One of my favorite places to camp locally. You wont be disappointed.
See link for info. Just says they must be on leash https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/prescott/recreation/camping-cabins/recarea/?recid=67175&actid=31
The camp hosts are very nice and flexible with you. Check in is typically around noon if your site is occupied the night previous.
