I launched my kayak from here in July 2022. Very clean and well kept restroom facility. The ramp can be very busy at times but be patient, it is worth it. Good boat in camping beaches about a mile away. Beautiful and very relaxing. Winds and waves can be challenging to kayakers so experience is important. Be careful.

Nice boat launch for day fun in the Bay. People who launched are friendly and helpful.

Decent spot for launching kayaks, boats etc, coast can be muddy, dirty and slippery on some days. Overall convenient spot.

Really beautiful natural bay, lush habitat for so many different types of critters! Loads of tasty hiking trails!

Good question ¿ Marin County will be one of the first to go into shut down mode !!! Call Nick's Cove restaurant & ask what they see , during ( Normal business hours) . If they aren't shut down ?
It's best if you go down the jetti @ doran beach or down Lawsons landing for snaring. You can try to snare there but you most likely wont catch anything.
I have a 15.5 foot bow runner. I can launch at 1.0 foot above zero tide.
Yes I was there last Saturday, boat launch and parking is open
Yes. Since the june 1st.
Halibut May thru August but July is usually the hottest
Jose, thanks for the info. Looking to launch a 12ft inflatable for calming. Have transom wheels so can walk it out if not too soft/muddy. Any comment?
Yes
Download the "Magic Seaweed" app for wave, swell and wind forecast.
Not Sonoma County. It’s marin county
Nope. Too muddy and soft. You'll notice the lot empty on low days. Maybe launch at Lawsons landing?
