Great trail, not a whole lot of elevation but definitely not stroller friendly. The road to the trailhead is bumpy (at least the last 2-3 mi). The views from the trail are scenic and worth the walk. If you are looking for Alamere falls in summer then be prepared for disappointment! Plenty of deers to spot and some king snakes (watch out for them in the afternoon - early evening time)

Quite a long hike if you're up for the challenge, varies in elevation but nothing too drastic, about 14 miles without the shortcut but we'll worth the journey

As my third time, and my girlfriend's first time coming here, the beauty of the waterfall at the end of the trail is and always will be my favorite part. The actual trail is hard with its inclined and declined sections, but the views along the way make it worth while

Nice place with typical great California Ocean views to get away from the city. Easy to follow trail which goes inland for a bit where there’s a couple of small lakes & some ponds. The pavement ends about a mile from a large dirt parking lot with pit toilets. No water. Trail is probable 40% shaded so be prepared. Plus the weather can come off the oceans pretty quickly. Would definitely go again and maybe even camp at Wildcat Camp. Highly recommend.

There's a parking lot with a restroom. Take the upper trail. Near the restroom. Fyi when you get to where the "beach" is you will have to rapel down on a rope ladder with other ropes approx 20ft down. The hike is beautiful. Good idea to check for when tide is out so you get better access to tide pools.
No it's posted as no pets.
Not sure why the hours state that on here but I went last Tuesday and it was open.
Yes. Trails are rather flat and non rugged but you can make it as adventurous and as long as you want. It's a good workout given the distance.
Nope. No bbq.
Pets are not allowed on this trail.
The palomarin trail takes you to wildcat camp. But I'm pretty sure you need reservations for camping.
