There are several Goodwill stores in Santa Rosa. I stopped by this one because I have not been in it for a long time. I am always on the lookout for cd's, dvd's and framed artwork. Books are also on my radar. Today, I found a dvd I wanted to add to my collection. What I like about Goodwill, is that the money they make from sales of donated items and financial donations, they use towards training people to become viable members of the workforce.

Thrift store, lots of clothes, great signage so pricing easy to see. You can't see it from Industrial, must use signs. Plenty of parking.

I’ve been to this store many times and I like it a lot, but yesterday I bought a clock and discovered when I got home that it did not work. (I tried multiple batteries and checked them in other electronics to make sure the batteries weren’t at fault.) I would really appreciate it if the clocks were checked before being sold.

This is a pretty good Goodwill. But a couple times they've pulled a bait & switch on clothing prices on me that I don't appreciate. As an example, yesterday I shopped for t-shirts off the $3 t-shirt rack. Found a few I liked. I get to the counter and the Under Armor one is $7, not $3, because it's a workout shirt not a t-shirt, even though it was hanging with the other purple t-shirts categorized by color by their employees. No signage for me with their rules to differentiate workout from lounge T pricing. It's happened to me twice at this store. Both times the cashier didn't care about my experience or bait & switch laws of CA, I either pay up, or don't buy the shirt at the price advertised. Grrrrr...!!! Other than that... clean store, plenty of free, easy parking, nice staff, decent selection. Spent a hundreds here over the course of about 15 years. Not sure I'll ever go back after yesterday, tho, since they don't seem to GOS about my shopping experience, loyal customers, or repeat business.
