Beautiful place. Great camping spots. Spent 2 nights. I-25 south, exit 163, cross to otherside i-25 frontage rd. Drive 2mi+, 2nd 14ft-4inch under bridge(not the under washes, there are two), the road splits-slip to dirt road go straight. Drive till you see a yellow-blue cattle gaurd. Just after that you will see 2 boards on the left. Then the drive goes straight to canyon. I suggest SUV, although cars are fine. Very nice trail (1.5 mi). Mountain sheep visits canyon early in the morning. When i was here only 2 campers were there.

Beautiful series of slot canyons. The hike commonly listed is less than two miles however, you can make a hike out here as long as you’d like. A tremendous hidden asset in the high desert.

Gorgeous place you definitely need to visit when in the area! We camped overnight in our van and couldn't have woken up to a better view. There are nice spots for hiking and exploring! There's a popular review on the correct way to get in, make sure to check that out!! Google took us the wrong way in to a closed road.

Really nice location once you find your way there. DO NOT follow Google's directions. Get off at the Lemitar exit and take the access road on the west side of the highway north about 5 miles. When the road turns right to cross under I-25, you will see a sign for the canyon pointing left onto a dirt road. That's the correct road to get in. After about 4 miles, you'll cross a cattle guard and see the welcome sign.
