As many others have mentioned this is quite possibly the worst post office with the most incompetent staff. The staff are slow and apathetic, they will without warning immediately return your packages if they cannot be delivered to your home address, I've had a couple of my packages lost while at the post office, and despite saying delivered the employees will at times take days (excluding weekends) to put mail in the PO Box. Don't be fooled into thinking that these issues come from Covid because I've been dealing with this post office well before Covid occurred and it's been the same exact issues. I genuinely hate this post office.

Staff is unfriendly and rude most of the time. They constantly lose packages or if busy just return to senders so they don't have to deal with them. We always know when packages don't not show up it was sent via USPS. I avoid USPS shipping if I can and so I can actually get my packages.

They lose packages. I live 20 mins away. I can’t imagine traveling to Sunriver for vacation, expecting you’ll get your package, while they tell you they don’t have it only to find once back home that they do. Unacceptable. At least I can drive back 5-6 times to check. Not an exaggeration. If you are expecting a package and they tell you it’s not there, ask again, then again, and even once more. That’s what we’ve learned. Wish they would allow us to choose our post office.

Just plain rude "service!". I watch the lady behind the counter treat the woman in front of me rudely. She wouldn't help her with her question and just made smart a$$ comments while talking down to her. Then she proceeded to make similar comments to me and tried to talk down to me. I had a box delivered to me while on vacation in Sunriver and for some reason they won't deliver packages to your doorstep. I'm not sure what other function USPS has other than to deliver post. I received a notification that the package was in Sunriver less than an hour earlier and then another notification that the delivery failed. I went over there immediately to get my package before it got put on the next truck. The lady lied and said the package wasn't in the office and didn't even want to check. Obviously it hadn't been sorted, attempted, and sent back that fast! She finally said she'd check, and rather than looking for the package physically she just came back and told me what the computer said, which was information I already had. She said they just refuse to deliver packages if the people aren't registered residences with them. But I was a resident for almost a week, as I paid to rent a house for that period of time. Just a miserable rude human being and she has no business in a service industry. My hometown post office is very helpful and they would bend over backwards to help their customers. Guess I'm spoiled with good people back home. This office, and this lady specifically, is a huge blemish on the Sunriver community! Just retire if you have your job!

They've forwarded our packages to an unknown address for several days now.
It is still open, they just dont have time to sit on the phone and figure issues out, there is usually a pretty good line throughout the day and just a couple of workers. Hope this helps!
It will need to have her PO Box # on it, on it, or will be sent back. The PO employees do not know all the resident's PO Box numbers by heart.
On which town?
