I came early and asked for a haircut before balayage, she agreed to cut it but then forgot to and I was charged $20 for extra color I wouldn’t have needed if it was cut. The gradient is very good as it begins near the top but only one little section got to be blonde at the bottom, so it is uneven with everywhere else, many parts are even brown again at the bottom! For the $220 price I don’t think I will do this again here, I have had similar results with kits from Walgreens and they are so much cheaper. It looks nice but not what I was hoping for, especially for the price.

I paid $162 for a cut and color. I tipped $20. My hair is about 25% gray according to Marissa, who is the higher tier stylist who did my hair. In the past I have not had any difficulty coloring my gray, but for some reason after five shampoos and approximately 10-12 days after the service, my gray began showing through. The color failed. I returned to the salon and reported this to a stylist on deck. She was very professional and kind. However, when I spoke with the owner and expressed that I did not want to return to Armando's Salon for the free do-over that she offered me, she refused to refund me the cost for the color. I do not recommend this salon. The customer service is lacking, and the integrity is completely amiss.

My first time at this salon in many years. I chose Marissa randomly from website. I asked for a short choppy cut. This was the best haircut I’ve ever had. I will be a client of hers for as long as she’ll have me. Great job, Marissa. Thank you!!
