I joined Scribe’s wine club (Viticultural Society) as I’ve been intrigued after hearing wonderful things about the winery. We came and tried the Hacienda tasting. The setting, service and food were all lovely and beyond expectations. However, the wines are not impressive and really not very good. Everything we tried was thin, acidic and had no body or complexity. We haven’t enjoyed any of the wines we’ve received in our wine club shipments. In fact, the Chardonnay we received had effervescence. We’ve poured out all 3 bottles we’ve opened as none of them were worth drinking (Silvaner, 2021 Chardonnay and 2021 White Pressed Pinot Noir). We loved the setting so much and really hoped the wines would be better.

Beautiful! Wonderful wines and food. Great service! Skin Fermented Chardonnay is excellent, try it if it's available.

This was my first time at this winery and really enjoyed the laid back casual vibe. There was outdoor seating with umbrellas. And even though we had just been to a different winery about 15 minutes away and had experienced some breeziness, it was calm and very pleasant at Scribe. They greeted us with pours of Rosé of Pinot Noir and plenty of bites to go along with our wine tasting. I only wish that they had an area where guests could relax and wander on the grass so that we weren’t limited to our seating area only.

We could not believe how beautiful this property was or how amazing the wine was that was paired perfectly with each course. The service was a little slow and we didn't learn as much about the wines as we did at other vineyards because of the meal pairing, but the experience was amazing and we really enjoyed our time on the property.
