This was our first sleepover official camp site with toddlers who are 2 and 3 years old. There were a lot of stuff to explore like hidden garden, horse camp, and hiking trails. The best part was probably clean bathroom and accessibility to the city with little kids.

A multiuser park. Expect hiking, runners, groups, folks on horseback, and mountain bikers. $6 per vehicle and hours are 7 am to 7 pm everyday. Bring water, wear comfortable clothes, a hat, hiking shoes, and carry snacks. Map out your path and stay on the trail. If you visit often, it’s worth to invest in the annual pass.

We stayed here for just one night on our way south from Washington to LA. Great little spot! Friendly camp host, great trails to explore, quiet and clean. We were only here one night but are planning to stop again on the way back north while we wine taste in Napa.

Spent 3 hours hiking the Skyline trail. Beautiful views of Napa with a moderate rated trail with a climb of about 1300+ feet elevation. With all the rain lately, the streams were hopping and the trails were a hit muddy, so be careful and don't slip and slide!

@Angela Marino ...No, if you take the entrance that is near the college, its completely free.
You can get one at the main entrance. There isn't a pass, but you will have to pay a small fee to enter, depending if youre going walking, in car or with bike. If you enter by the College entrance into the trails, there is no fee, but it's a longer walk.
According to the park's website, it contains 16 miles of walkable trails. Didn't see any further specification of total square feet/miles, unfortunately.
No, I work at Skyline and there are no fires allowed.
The trails! Really nice views from the ridgeline. Never camped here before but the park is great for day use. Enjoy!
Yes, they have lots of trails for horseback riding and open places to park your truck and trailer. You have to pay to get in and I think they charge extra for a horse.
Dogs are okay for the campground, but not allowed on the trails. The campground has a dog park.
No. The park is perfectly fine and the aq is great right now in napa.
There is one by the college, you'll have to park on the south side and walk across the street at the lights. Another entrance is on Imola at the end
$ 30. Please check the reservation link https://book.rvspots.com/SkylineWildernessPark/spots?end=1-9-2019&start=30-8-2019
I don't think swimming in the lake is allowed.
You can only stay 2 weeks, them move out seven days then return another 2 weeks etc.
Skyline Wilderness Park has not raised the annual pass fee for 2019, its still $45 to hike all calendar year and bring up to 3 friends with you when you drive in.
Its a park not a home for rent
Napa valley velo on Gasser dr. Has rentals That would be the closest.
Sorry, don't know....Didn't see any fishing gear out during the 10 days we at 2 different stays.... Maybe check their website....?
Yes, rattlesnakes are active warm parts of the year.
Yes...There's a keypad at the gate....
Skyline Wilderness Park has a dump station available for free if you are camping at the park. If you are not staying it is $15. If you have an annual pass it is only $10 to dump. Great way to save money.
It is the old crematorium for the state hospital.
$5.00 Entrance fee for park, including just to go for a hike. It's a beautiful place, & worth every penny. You won't be disappointed as long as you don't have to interact for any length of time with the pretentious, borderline rude staff members, namely the very condescending strawberry blonde haired woman, I believe is named Becky. And one of the most unkind, judgemental, & dishonest women I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with: the Board of Directors President, Dorothy. That said, you shouldn't miss out on a day at Skyline just because of these two women. Overnight RV & tent camping is not included in the $5.00 fee. Additional very reasonable fees apply. Just make sure you & your vehicle/camping gear are up to par, or BETTER. Otherwise you might be turned away, & told they are "sold out". My suggestion is to pay in full, & in advance, so you dont have to worry about being denied access simply because you're having a "bad hair day".
No you can't fish there, however there is a large reservoir, lake Marie, at the top of the hills but it's private property. Somehow trespassers are usually caught. My friend got a trespassing ticket for being at the reservoir.
Yes they are open but some of the trails are closed
