Frisch and Sons just completed my pool demo and build out. Wanted to take a moment to thank them for the wonderful job they did. All work done was in accordance to the city's permitting requirements. Was provided a price upfront. Was told exactly what all the steps involved would be and roughly how long it would take. They were also accommodating as our design for build out changed as we saw the work progress. Bobby would check in with us regularly as the work progressed and kept us up to speed on next steps. I now have a large useful space that my dog can run around in. Very happy with the decision to demo the pool and the work done by Frisch and Sons.

We had extensive hardscape damage to our property from our neighbors invasive tree root system. From our driveway, front patio, flowerbed , concrete walkway on the side of our home to the back patio, - Bobby provided cost effective suggestions that would correct all the damage as well as provide us with proper water flow drainage. We were so impressed with Bobby that we did not even consider contacting another company for an estimate. The entire crew of Frisch and Sons , from demolition to reconstruction was absolutely a pleasure to work with. All the work is so aesthetically pleasing to the eye and now we have even more usable yard space. We would not hesitate to refer Frisch and Sons and /or hire them again for any future project.

Bobby and his crew are the up most professionals. Great communication with Bobby along the way made the experience great. I recommend these guys all the way. Other contractors have left a mess before. Bobby made sure his guys left our yard really clean when it was all over.

Wait for it... Please read to the end. On time, on budget, flexible, reasonable, everything you would want in a contractor. My kids are still asking when David is going to visit again. We just finished a major addition on the back of the house, so we knew the backyard was going to need a total make over at the end. After a few quotes I decided to try Frisch even though we dont have a pool. No problem. They could do exactly what I needed: demo the existing concrete, grade and re-level the yard, because when it rained it would flood in certain areas. We also had them redo and add drains plus give us artificial turf. The kids love soccer, so we decided on a 24' x 45' rectangle of sports turf that has been used and abused, but still looks fantastic. We even enough had money left over to have them demo the front grass area, add drip lines and add conduit for future gas and electric lines, if we wanted to do fire pit. So finally, here is the best part... David actually saved both my neighbor and I from a possible dangerous situation. David mentioned that he could smell a faint of gas from between our houses. My neighbor and I couldnt smell anything so I called in the Gas Company whom quickly dispatched someone to check it out. It turns out the gas leak was at my neighbors house, on a new outside gas line that was just installed, a few months earlier, by a different contractor. Thanks to Frisch & Sons for a safer, dryer and much more beautiful front and backyard.

Yes! We are licensed as General Engineers, General Contractors and Landscape Contractors. We are certified for any size of type of project you might have, demolition and installation focused. We recommend for swimming pool demolitions or backfills to ONLY hire a company that is certified as General Engineers (CSLB A License) or General Contractors (CSLB B License). Specialty specific classifications like a CSLB "C" license, does not fully equip a company to properly complete such project that has engineering aspects to it. We have had to re-excavate and re-demolish improperly compelted swimming pools by companies that have CSLB "C21" Classifications. We would ONLY recommend a contractor with "A" or "B" license.
Hi Shay, thanks for reaching out! What is a good phone number to reach you at to schedule a free estimate? Thanks so much and hope you’re having a good week so far
Hello, your friend is correct! If you plan on building over a demolished swimming pool, you will need a soils engineer to provide a structural report to sign off on the building permit provided by the city. We provide soils engineering compaction testing with a licensed Soils Engineer which will pass any city requirements. The quality of the dirt fill will be tested in terms of density, type of material as well as toxicity levels - our compaction is guaranteed for life.
