Its great that they brought back Passport Services, as its really convenient to do it at city hall (or at the temporary city clerk office). Its by appointment only, but its fast & cheap. The passport photo is $15 & I believe they discontinued the processing fee in favor of USPS Priority Mail, which is great as it saves me $25, and it also helps me fund USPS.

What do I need to get my passport
It depends. But in general, it's safer to call ahead. If you need to go to the office, walk-ins are fine. However, if you need to speak to the City Clerk herself, an appointment would be highly advised because she may not be in at the time you arrive or she may be very busy even if she is there
