I had been there for 2 years. Laura was the previous complex manager who was really great to work with, especially during covid. Now you have this millennial manager who throws a tantrum and ignores the residents. In this time where finding a place to live is tough she has refused to renew several leases even though you have paid your rent. Based purely on whether she likes you or not. . If you're a senior, do not live here. She will not return your emails or calls. She will not put anything in writing so that she can deny ever talking to you. If you're a millennial youre golden. I have filed a discrimination complaint with HUD against her for this. She will also forbid you talk to your neighbors about any complaints. As if she has the power to do this. I filed several complaints about the neighbors and she sent me a Cease and Desist stating I was not to email or call the office unless she determined it was important enough to contact them. I have forwarded this to HUD. Parking is a joke and now you have to pay for it as well. This girl is a child but fortunately karma has tried to teach her a lesson she has yet to learn. This place used to be great. No longer

Parker Flats at Old Town is a great place to live! The complex is really quiet and very safe. The location is perfect being within walking distance to so many great restaurants. The neighbors we met were wonderful and are now considered friends! Even our dogs made new doggie friends. We moved because we purchased a house, but we will always have wonderful memories of our time there. Both Laura and Megan in the Leasing Office are great and were always there to answer any and all questions.

We lived in a 2 bedroom apartment at Parker Flats for 2 years and have absolutely zero complaints. The staff is amazing and always so friendly and helpful! Parking was never and issue with the old school house lot available and it was so fun being right in the middle of downtown! We absolutely would have stayed if they had a three bedroom option. Thank you so much Parker Flats for making our time living there so enjoyable!

I looked at a bunch of other apartment complexes in the area and they were all around the same amount of rent, so it comes down to a supply and demand situation. Some renters have mentioned the poor quality of workmanship in some aspects of their apartment. I fully disagree. This place is solid. Yes, it has wood (actually vinyl) flooring so you can hear things above you a little more but it's also easier to clean! Also, you can't beat the location of Parker Flats, as it is close to pretty much everything. The leasing staff are great too. They recently hosted a week's worth of 'renter appreciation' functions including an ice cream night, a build your own pizza night and even a fully catered dinner from Portofino restaurant (including red or white wine). On the downside, my AC went out for a while this past summer as well but the staff and maintenance crew worked as fast as possible to get it fixed. And finally, this brings me to remind you (the reader) that there are always 2 sides to a story when reading a bad review. Yes, I have personal knowledge of some of the complaints against the complex, but I won't get into it here. Parker Flats is cool.
