A scam is being done between Legacy Labs and Slocum Orthopedics, "Nicotine labs". Not every patient gets them, the timing is wrong (weeks out so they're unreliable), and for some a VERY unnecessary out of pocket expense! AND Nicotine labs are considered a PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING test, and will NOT be covered by some insurances! SHAME ON YOU!

While the staff are nice, their hours are not! I had a similar experience as an another reviewer. The office was closed from 11:30am - noon for lunch and again at 4:30pm-5pm for shift change. Considering these are essentially the only times I can make it due to work and full time school, this makes it very inconvenient and, quite frankly, terrible management. They have multiple offices but can't schedule enough staff members at this location to remain open during these times is beyond me!

My doctor sent me to Legacy Labs on Crescent Avenue in Eugene, Oregon. I arrived at 4:35pm. There was a sign on the door saying the lab was closed between 4:30 - 5:00pm for shift change. I waited in my car. At 5:02 another patient came to the door and I saw that the door was not unlocked yet. He waited for about 5 minutes, then left. I went to the door at 5:15 and it still was not unlocked. The lab has posted hours until 9:00pm. I called the phone number on my brochure, and the customer service person stated that the staff member must be late. Not only did I waste 45 minutes waiting for an employee who didn’t show up for their shift, I didn’t get my labs drawn! This is extremely poor business practice to schedule staff so tightly that there is no overlap. Apparently one staff member left at 4:30pm and the other employee did not show up for their shift at 5:00pm. I will be reporting back to my PCP and in the future will request to be sent to a different lab, as we have multiple choices here in Eugene.
