A place for the books! We came for the Blues, Brews and BBQ event a few weeks back and loved everything about our day trip! The scenery is gorgeous, they have many different hike/bike trails, mini-golf, good beer, a nice restaurant at the top of the mountain, a gondola ride and to top it off... it's a dog friendly venue!!

Good, but could be so much better. If you are a person looking for a fun resort, go here, you’ll pay through the nose but it’s fun. The rest of this review is for anyone who reads these at Basin…. Let’s start from the top. Would it be to much to ask to have a bathroom that wasn’t downstairs around the corner through all the people, my child can’t hold it that long, where are they again? Sorry, the bathroom thing is super annoying. Way to expensive for what you get in return. Your policies for leaving and non-rentry are ridiculous. If some people are abusing the drinking rules go after them, not the regular people who just want to run to their car to grab a coat. Whoever makes the preschool rules needs to go to little bitty timeout. And lastly, even though I want to go on. Stop taking yourself so seriously. You are a ski resort in Utah, chill out and have fun.

Look. I love Alta. It’s amazing. And I will always go back there, but you just can’t help but long for Snowbasin now and again. From the Olympic downhill course, to the wide open, groomed runs down to Strawberry, it has something for everyone. Just don’t tell anyone else about it in case the crowds spoil it.

Picturesque resort with long top to bottom runs that all lead to two gondolas with minimal lines. Tons of terrain for all skiing abilities. Terrain parks have a lot of well maintained features and the tree skiing is top notch. A must visit if in UT.

They have down hill mountain biking
Yes
So far the answer is no, they have many different things they are adding this year to make it easier to socially distance. And mask will be required.
I stayed at the best Western in Ogden, 30 minutes away, very good place. If not I'm sure there are plenty of places closer by
I'm not positive if sleds are allowed, *EDIT just saw a couple sledding under the John Paul Lift with multiple tracks.* I've seen many families sledding on an off-property portion of the mountain just off the side of the road on the way in; just before the upper parking lot. I used a couple pull-along-sleds and towed the kiddos around the front lawn/snow area without incident just prior to leaving. We were there skiing, but we did tow the kiddos around for a few afterwards. During winter, Snowbasin is a winter sports resort, with focus on skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, and offer rental equipment, but no sleds that I'm aware of. They do have a children's area inside, and a family friendly snow zone for families beginning or learning to ski. Overall, it's a fantastic and amazing place to learn for all ages. See https ://www.snowbasin.com/resort-services/childrens-center/ for additional services. I say rent yourself and your little ones some ski equipment and come join the fun!!
No good way to do that in the winter. Park down in the main lots. That old lot is gravel
The gondola only runs Saturdays and Sundays for summer
Ticket pricing:. https://www.onthesnow.com/utah/snowbasin/lift-tickets.html Seek lodging in Ogden or check VRBO
