Super cool trail and well marked. We did about 6.4 miles and it took 2 hours to complete. The blooms right now are amazing. According to the map it loops around. Not sure though. According to some other hikers once you get higher up the path it isnβt so well maintained. Maybe next time. And donβt forget your adventure pass or $5.00 cash. Luckily we met some really cool people in the parking lot that let us borrow cash. We repaid him via Venmo π

If you asked me what word describes my experience it would be scaryβ¦ I went with my girlfriend yesterday and rode the different trails on our horses. The trails Narrows to about 2ish feet in some areas and at one point my horses back left foot fell through leaving behind a one and a half foot wide trail. It makes my hands just sweat thinking about it. The trails are not maintained for horses. We could get in and out of the camp with a two horse trailer with no problem anything bigger would be a tight squeeze unless youβre an experience hauler. The camp is clean and the people are friendly. When we got back down the mountain we ran into somebody that had slipped and fell breaking her collarbone. I definitely wouldnβt bring young kids too far on the trail and have them walk on the narrow path.

Summit Trail! Great trail, but understand that it switchbacks up the mountain for nearly 5 miles before leveling out near the summit. Beautiful views along the way and not overly difficult. Bring some water and enjoy the workout and nature.

Yes you can bring an RV. Not sure about restrictions but have seen large RVs here. Only know that tent camping is $15 a day. Also, not sure if there is a hook up for RVs. Small campground.
