The family and I had a great time walking around enjoying the animals. We had seen the show Alaska Animal Rescue and it was so much fun seeing some of the animals that were featured. (Artemus the musk ox was one of our favorite! ) Staff was helpful. Only complaint would be that the gift shop was highly overpriced.

Great place to see wildlife on a nice day. Unfortunately, they do not allow anyone to touch any of the animals. We had up close experiences with bears, bison, and elk. It was fun to see all of the animals. There are a few concessions, a picnic area, a gift shop, and a playground. Nice place to stop on the way to Whittier, or the Kenai Peninsula.

A very nice wildlife conservation center featuring most of the wildlife you would want to see in Alaska. We had a guided tour and was very informative. We were also able to walk through the center to see all the animals and explore on our own for a bit. Highly recommend this place!

Wasn’t in the plan but stopped in anyway. Was very cool experience. Unlike zoos, you can tell the animals are happy. Very active. You can drive or walk the property. We walked and enjoyed it. Be sure to stop to see the brown bears a few times, they were playful and very active, doing something different each time we went.
