Whenever my wife and I want a “fine dining” dinner out in Anchorage we google the options. Jens’ has always been a place we have considered but we had not been until recently stopping there for lunch. It will definitely be our next fine dining dinner destination. Our lunch was excellent, everything was perfect. Our meal had a definite “wow factor”. We have been disappointed at some other well known fine dining places in Anchorage recently, but nothing at Jens’ was disappointing. Highly recommended. The location is the only down side, hidden in a strip mall. However, the food and service is so worth it. Excellent experience.

Great place to celebrate! Celebrate a birthday, celebrate an anniversary, celebrate a night on the town. This French cuisine restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Anchorage, and has been for many years. They have a constant menu, but sometimes it's great to try the seasonal specials and explore. Although it's a bit pricey, this restaurant is for the foodie in all of us.

We started with the charcuterie board. It had a nice variety of meat, cheeses, & fruit. It came out quick, just after we got our drinks. The rockfish and salmon were fresh. The food was nice and hot when we got it. The vegetables on the dishes were nothing special. They were cut big but cooked thoroughly. The rockfish had a nice sauce. The salmon had a chunk of butter with cranberries that was supposed to melt on the fish but it was very thick and too sweet. Service was pretty good. Our water cups were never empty. Overall it was good and we will be going back.
