Denny's really hasn't been good since the 80s. Everyone I've discussed it with agrees. I have no clue how they stay in business. I guess putting them in truck stops and drivers not having much choice helps. Sucks for the drivers though. Luckily locals know better places to go.

The restaurant has always been good in the past but now it's too hard to show some integrity instead of blatantly lying to customers. They have posted that they are open until 2:00 AM and I show up at 12:30 AM to find them having closed at midnight instead. If the manager is too lazy to be honest and has no integrity when it comes to the customers, the source of their own livelihood, they should not be a manager and they need to find an honest person to replace them. If you lie to your own source of income I can't trust your services otherwise to be good to customers either.

Don't even bother coming here. After going to 2 other restaurants that both had an hour wait, went here for a likely calmer crowd. There were a few parties that had been waiting, but a good handful of tables that I could see empty. I even stood at the desk to get checked in for over 10 minutes without even an acknowledge from any employee that passed by. No host/hostess was even there during all that time.

I gotta say, this is one of the nicest and cleanest Denny's I have ever been in. The food was cooked well, the one server was busting her butt, and the ambiance was comforting.
