This review is as a delivery driver (instaCart) but I know other platforms do too. Anyway this location is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Palettes of inventory wrapped and on the floor (not put away) no real organization. So for me to spended the extra 20 minutes and still not being able to find what was ordered. this not only takes my pay per hour down but usually results in less of a tip (even though I went above and beyond) because usually it's a percentage of the total spent so less things bought = less of a tip

My little boys recently got 2 gallon fish tanks. We went to Petco to fill them. Not only were more than half the tanks empty or full of fish that were not for sale but The sales woman was rude and condescending about the size of the tanks. She basically refused to even sell us a tiny guppy. She had no suggestions, was unfriendly, and really ruined what as supposed to be a fun experience.

Husbandry at pet stores like this is terrible at best. Today I went through the betta fish like I usually do and found 4 dead fish ( I usually find one or 2 long dead) and quite a few others struggling and dirty. If stores cannot properly maintain the care of animals and have them die frequently, maybe they should leave the care/sales of those animals to breeders and professionals instead of hoping they are bought before your incompetence kills them.

Being the only Petco nearby, I have to frequent this store more than I would prefer. Employees are polite, but act like they don't want to be there. My biggest complaint/concern is the mess. It is ALWAYS messy and disorganized. Lots of boxes of inventory just strewn about the place. Hoses all over the floors usually by the fish. (safety hazard!) A "catch all" isle by the dog toys that just collects boxes and trash. Really the first thing you notice while entering though is the smell. I'm not sure if its the cats or the grooming area, but it reeks. I feel like I have to hold my breath every time I enter. I have visited many other Petco locations that were clean and organized. I just don't see any excuse for this problem and makes me worry about the care of the living animals in the store.
