A cute quiet little stop off the side of the road. Everyone was very friendly. Unfortunately since it was a holiday (July 4th) they did not have anyone for a house tour however we did ride the wagon it was cute nothing to write home about but for $3 it was cute. There's a lot of land to look at and the farm animals where fun to see for free they even provide animal bingo in the activity barn. Overall happy we stopped. If you are crunched for time you can skip if you have extra definatly a stop I suggest.

This place is so incredible for kids. Being outdoors and open with lots of space, we would take our toddler there 3 times a week during the Covid to see the horses, cows, ducks, & geese. It was a life saver. Thank you to everyone who contributes to the Wheeler Farms operation. Now that things have opened back up they have weekly actives that are fantastic for all ages.

This beautiful historic working farm is perfect for all sorts of family activities. We went to take family photos so we didn't participate in any of the hands-on activities available at the farm, but there's a great variety to choose from. The grounds are beautiful and served perfectly as a backdrop for our 30 or so odd family members to ham it up in front of the camera. (Note: professional photographers need to secure a pass.) The farm is really incredible! From event spaces to cow milking demonstrations to a Sunday Market in the summer and early Fall. There's a farmhouse from the late 1800's that can be toured. And they offer a wide variety of educational opportunities. Additionally, the farm has 75 acres and visitors can walk, run or ride the backcountry. There's even a 5k trail marked out. A real gem of a park!

Historic farm in the middle of a busy city with large trees and some flowering plants too. The park features a pavilion, playground fort, large grassy areas and picnic tables among the working historic farm and its barn animals. A very nice location for photoshoots year round. It has trails around it for leisure morning or afternoon walks.

They are indeed open Sundays, that's when the Farmers Market happens, begining at 9am. You can buy pumpkins there, or take your kids through the Hay Maze at the Farm. If there are pumpkins left, you can pick one to take home. In regards to the Hay Ride, you will need to call & ask for the times they have available as they are usually reserved times. Hope that helps 😉
Not aware of any charge. Had family photos there about 6 years ago and there was no charge.
It's like a park, free to chill and play and walk or run, but this park has so much to look at from historic wagons and cabins to modern day art and gardens! They also have cute sheep and goats and other farm animals! On sun they have An awseome framers Market that is, in my opinion, the best in the valley! So many different venders selling all kinda goodies like local honeys, vegetables, jewelry, purses, soaps, art, clothes new and used... And that's just too name a few... Oh and there's an awesome cowboy who walks around offering kids real horsey rides! So worth checking it out! Any day of the week is a great day to visit wheeler farm!
There's plenty of covered tables but I imagine you need to reserve.
