My experience with Summerwood has been mixed. Sometimes I will have good experience and other I will bad experience. I feel I have to ninety percent of the communication. I feel I am in the office requesting maintenance issue almost every month. From water leaks on upper floors, to electrical issues, to a/c problems, and some problems never get addressed. They raised the rent in 2022. I think 3 stars is fair for the quality.

I have lived here for about 11 years and have had every maintenance request handled the same day. Jen and Tracy in the office have always been polite and responsive. Best place. Very quiet. Great place to live after 11 years experience.

These apartments are the worst. The staff is very rude and unprofessional instead of understanding the tenants they judge and criticize. They are very discriminatory against others as well. When you call for maintenance they blame you for the cause. There is one worker who is the rudest that is Jenny she is beyond rude and very stuck up. When moved in the apartment was disgusting everything was dirty the carpet was never replaced. They have so many bugs and it’s absolutely disgusting. the rent goes up every time you renew the lease and if you decide to go month by month its 80$ more. Do not I repeat Do not move into these apartments

It was great the first several months we lived there, the maintenance was on top of it, our fridge went out and they replaced it same day. Most of the office staff was friendly (Tracy and Jen were amazing). Eventually we did have neighbors that moved in below us and brought bed bugs. The management did find that it wasn’t our fault as we had lived there nearly a year before the new tenants moved in. They did multiple treatments until the problem was gone. We did, however, relocate soon after. It’s not so much the apartment that had issues, I actually liked ours a lot but it was rather the people that were living there were not always the best or the cleanest. I’m giving a 3 star rating for this reason.

Most likely a bad background. They do check for a criminal background but if you are honest with them and provide proof you are doing everything you can to get it taken care of, you have a higher chance of getting in. There isn't a ridiculous deposit you have to provide either.
I love being on the bottom. The lighting depends on how the building sits, and doesn't affect what floor you are on. The only crappy part of first floors is all of the snow wind and rain come straight down into your balcony. I put up tarps during the winter to keep the snow out and take it down during the summer.
You have to call for this question, and start your application process.
Yes it is. Just have to pay.
There is a website but only informational only. The deposit is $200. I have occasionally seen spiders and ants. Maintenance has sprayed day after letting them know. Not sure about the rest of question.
Must be 18, be able to prove your income, good background, no prior evictions.
Should not be an issue if backgrounds and what not are good.
