I absolutely love the park. It was extremely beautiful, naturally very tranquil, well kept almost like a secret in the middle of a larger a suburb City a greater County. I had one of the best Father's days!

Our family camped here on a Friday through Sunday. We reserved spot 20 because of the photo online it also said it was partially shaded. However when we pulled in there was absolutely no shade. Photos attached.
It was hot & worse without shade. The rangers repeatedly came to our site to complain about our tents or canopy not being lined up perfectly on our side of the site even though both sites on the side of us started empty all weekend. Music is too be shut off even if it's low by 10pm. The ranger Friday night was incredibly bored to keep bugging us. Instead of cleaning the restrooms, which did not get clean all weekend. By Sunday morning there was no toilet paper. Luckily we bring our own!
The splash pad was fun! We all had a great time and spent the entire Saturday at the pad since we had no shade at our site. The restrooms by the splash pad are clean and have a/c. At the end of the day we enjoyed ourselves but the website needs to update their photos for rentals, also cleaning restrooms should be a priority on a packed camp ground. We will be giving it another try when we can't get our usual spots.

The cabins are reasonable. They were clean and sanitized. The park rangers patrolled the park(24/7 it seemed). We felt safe. Everyone appeared to have followed the rules and had done their part in keeping the park free of trash. There were a few families partying but they obeyed park rules and weren't troublesome at all. We definitely will attend again.
It was $6 for adults and $3 for kids when I went. Golf was $5 ulimitited golf. Plus there is fishing. That was $12 or $15 . somewhere around there.. There is also a group rate. If there are a lot of people in your group and you want your own spot.
Yes the department of fish and game have special rates for people with disabilities. Check their website to learn more. As far as Rancho Jurupa you would have to contact them directly to learn more.
Can I bring my motorhome is 34 ft, in and do you have the amenities for this.
Thanks

Never fish after stocking or fuller moons. Tomorrow and Saturday with the temp drops would have been more ideal day for you to go.
Charcoal plastics and corn scent PB. 👍 tightlines
Yes to both Cristy Flores. If I remember correctly parking was 10 & I *think the water splash pad was $6 per day per person or something like that. But they charge for both. Call their number to get exact pricing.

They stocked the lake last Friday the 22nd I believe ..
Yes you do need a license. If you don't have one prior to your arrival to RJ you can purchase one at the store by the main entrance. They also have fishing gear for sale.
Yes a lease is need for are four legged friend's Durning the day but it seem a bit unfair to them for there safety. At night is a bit more complicated due to are local wildlife mainly skunks are abundant here but pretty tame and hard to provoke all that they want is trash or food. But 1# problem is coyote's....have fun.
Our last catfish stock at Rancho Jurupa was July. We have the following coming up:
Friday, August 5, 2022 and Friday, September 2, 2022. We offer night fishing until 9pm on Fridays & Saturdays during catfish season.
No you don't unless you want to. There are spaces to buy if you sleep inside your car or rv and then a separate space for tents. The boy scouts have used it a couple times.
Hi Jason, per our park ranger supervisor at Rancho Jurupa, the front lake at it's deepest point is between 15 and 20 feet. The picnic lake (the one in the back) fluctuates greatly from season to season.
They posted a flyer that said they would stock every Thursday till the end of April. It was supposed to be 609lbs every stock. Unfortunately that was a lie. They skip stocking dates and they only drop in 400lbs if lucky. Best to call them and ask. If you are there when they stock you only have to reel in your line till they are done and you can go right back to fishing.
They restock biweekly on wednesdays so ether tomorow the 24th or wednesdays the first not sure.. but Thursday mornings is the best day to go after they restock
I worked a show in this park for March of Dimes and I saw that there are different fees there depending on what you are doing there. They have cabins for rent, RV spaces for rent, I think the RV space was $45 a Day and the Cabins $125, day use was something like $5 or $7 a day. There is also a small water park, I do not remember the fee for that. They also rent out covered picnics area, those are not that cheap and if you want electricity that runs $35/$45 a day if I remember reading the sign correctly.
Not too sure didn't have a very good time fish in there other than the fact of just going fishing as they say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work
I believe the lake get stocked twice a week but I'm unsure of what two days one stock day is catfish and the other stock day is another kind of fish but I don't remember what it is... Sorry I couldn't be more help
CA State Yearly fishing Lic. Helps pay for many Angler interest like stocking, Fish and Game Wardens who help prevent Poachers and Polluters. Fresh water Lic $48.34, Ocean Tag $5.40, 2nd Rod Tag $15.12. Just the cost of doing business in 2018. Good luck
Yes, they check insurance and registration for both your vehicle and RV. Come prepared! Frankly, that should be a nonissue for folks anyway as you are legally required to have them while driving in CA.
