The maintain guy is an old racist who dicides to open the bathrooms whenever he wants and lock them completely out the days he doesn't feel like working. The hours say sunrise to sunset the bathroom are to be open. But that's even if he opens them. The time he does it's more around 8-9am before they are. He doesn't put paper in the stalls. And just goes around the park to collect recycling. That's it. This man should be retired and they should fire him.

Walked here for a bit wasn't Stoned but would love to go soon and have a nice picnic and see the train go around π

The park is a nice, green area surrounded by mini train tracks. The grass and trees were nice. The tables were disgustingly dirty. The restrooms were reasonably clean for a public park, but no soap or paper towels. We looked at every table before choosing the cleanest one because some were so gross that we couldn't use even part of them. The train was not out. There was a sign saying every 2nd and 4th Sunday is when rides are given. The website should be updated to reflect operation hours because we chose the park for the train and it was not there.

Watched my grandkids ride the train. Remembering back when I played softball there and where we took our kids for a cheap day ride the train which is free and then have a picnic in the park of course had that tuna or PBJ waiting for us! Had a great time and go back as often as we can!

Yes they have not said otherwise.
2nd and 4th Sunday of the month
Not sure if they are running the train on Easter...I know it is every other Sunday but don't know the holiday schedule. There are lots of tables throughout the park...I Would Say At Least 5 Big Shelters That You Can Rent With A Bunch Of Tables Under Each shelter and maybe 1or2 bbqs for each shelter but I'm not positive if they have bbqs at all...I thought I remembered seeing some but not positive.... then there are some single tables throughout the park as well, probably at least 10or more
They start at 10am and go till 3pm, on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
Ask far as I know there are no age restrictions or limits at the public parks in the city of Riverside.
Yes, the grills have canapies over them for a nice shade in addition to the sweet little train which operates a couple times a month, the kids love it!
Free, but they do have a donation box.
I didn't even say anything about homeless people. I said the park is large and had two playgrounds
Yeah usually they're running
Unfortunately, no. There's no skatepark. It is a great place for rollerblades.
There is a donation box and you can ride as much as you'd like while they are open but only once and then you'll need to wait in line again to ride a second time, etc. You can't just keep riding continuously... but if you don't mind waiting in line over and over again you can ride .it a couple times though out the day!
No if you want to reserve a space you would have to contact parks and recreation
You can request parks and reck to have them come on early
There are lights around the baseball fields but no direct lights above the picnic areas.
