A fun way to spend a few hours for any animal lover. Great for kids and adults as well. Birds, deer, kangaroos, alpacas, zebras, flamingos, etc. The little bird aviary is really cute. The goats are hilarious. I'd pay the admission fee just for the goats and birds....good for laughing.

Living Treasures is a great little petting zoo to visit. It’s stroller and small kid friendly with lots of herbivores to feed. They have a great business going and your season pass can be used at Keystone Safari. Living Treasures recently has been moving their larger animals to Keystone and focusing on smaller kid friendly animals. If you want dozens and dozens of goats and deer to feed and pet living treasures is where you want to go. If you want to see lions, hyenas, rare birds and giraffes then Keystone Safari will be your place. Again season passes can be used at both locations so you really can have your pick of experiences!

Stopped over on my way to the North Shore. It's more like a tiny farm than a zoo. The animals are so small and their enclosures are so tight. I was especially sad for the tigers. They were like a big house cat, so frail and skinny and less than a quarter size of a regular tiger. The Kangaroos were like giant rats,, so small and boxed in.. All the animals look so sad and miserable. It stinks like crazy so even though they try to keep the place clean it wasn't. So if u have a fragile nose and are sensitive to smells avoid going there.. they should limit the number of families entering as they were more kids than animals so I felt like I went to see a bunch of unruly kids with their equally incomplete parents.. if u want to animals go to Pittsburgh Zoo or Penn Caves.. better structures and animals are better cared for than here.

No train and for hours check the website
Yes. They opened for the 2018 season on March 31st.
Its a walk around type of zoo. Is not extremely large but many different types of animal exhibits to see! And there is plenty of shade on those sunny warm days! Definitely a really great "little big zoo" in the area!
They sometimes run specials like September Mondays were free for seniors, so check their website ltzoo.com
Adults (ages 13 - 61): $15.99 Seniors (62+): $13.99 Children (ages 3 - 12): $12.99 Ages 2 and under: FREE
If you call to schedule a birthday party, you can reserve the porch or picnic area. When these areas are not reserved they are open to the public
Last time i drove past, they were hiring. But that was last year during late summer. I would recommend going directly to the facility and ask them in person.
