I Would give Harvester's zero stars if I could. While most food banks are awesome places to unload, this is not. I don't understand the wonderful reviews about a so called super friendly staff. I got here with a full load at 3:30 pm and they informed me that I would have to come back the next day. I was told that they were open until 4:30 pm. I guess everyone was in too much of a hurry to go home EARLY. Even their door states 4:30 pm. I will never be back here again. You would think that a foodbank would actually want the food, but apparently not. It looks like I will have to take food banks off my list a places I will deliver. 17 and 1/2 hours later they have their load. I thought I was delivering to a Christian and charitable organization, but apparently I was wrong.

I was fortunate enough to be part of a tour given by the Topeka staff to the KC Area Harvester Ambassadors. The facility is extremely impressive and equally impressive is the staff. The building is well situated and is a model for the type of activity that Harvesters generates. Plans were thought of for long term success when this place was re-designed. I would encourage involvement by donations and/or advocacy at any level. As they used to say at the "K" - be a part of it all!! :)

They can! In many cases they accept 'expired' several years past that date
Yes you can go there to get food as much as you need. I hope you get to eat soon.
It's free. Mostly drive through
Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – until food runs out Town and Country Christian Church KS Neurological Institute 3107 SW 21st Street Topeka, KS 66614 785-272-9009 This is from Harvested website
If you go into the Harvesters. Org website there is a locator tab where you plug in your zip code. And it will give the pantries close by.
Not a one. Only Osage County place of assistance outside of ECKAN is Help House in Lyndon and Harvesters, which by the way, foods distributed are totally diff than what Harvesters of Topeka and/or Shawnee County receive, I've received moldy foods, stale and moldy breads, veggies and fruit were not edible, squishy, mushy, mold. Never got any can goods, cereals, juices or milk. It's awful. No one speaks up. I'm hungry, but I can't bring myself to eat what would normally be thrown out by any normal person or a health inspector. People shouldn't be handing out foods, etc., that they would not serve their families or consume themselves. RIGHT-?-! 👍
Call them. I don't know
The food bank is at 2nd & Quincy; the feeding kitchen is. Just west; ( noon to 13:00 pm) 2nd + kansas.
