I visited Hope Ministries a couple days ago, and my experience was awful. Mary (case manager) was very rude and inconsiderate. I spoke with her and her attitude was very unprofessional. She acted as if she was to busy to help. After I met with Mary she told the receptionist not to call her down to the office. Mary should find another job!! I'm very dissatisfied with the treatment at Hope ministries!!!

Being here was a very humbling experience and granted I tryed to get help from them , everyone that showed up with or after me got rental assistance and I can't get any at all. I'm writing to the attorney general for compliance. Right along with Christine's place and journey to a new life. If no one will help , then who will.

Yes
Generally 8 or 8:30 seconds are around 10:30 I believe I went there recently on a Missions trip and volunteered serving breakfast
Yes the public can, hope Faith is a non profit organization so they make money through the thrift store and also the thrift store is quite big with lots of variety. Though there isn't much for XS and 0,0 in womens clothes
I will check with Chef when I see him. The address listed for Hope Faith on this Google listing is accurate. I just checked with our Chef. We have a donor currently that keeps us pretty stocked up on Hostess products and today was no exception. Fortunately for us we are well supplied at this time. We clearly want to thank you for thinking of us but you might check with City Union Mission for this particular donation. They have a location on 10th and Troost that could probably use the help. Bless you and thanks.
Hope Faith is happy to serve anyone in need regardless of their gender identity. We often have guests from the LGBTQ community. It is a bit more difficult to speculate about the acceptance of our guests as a whole. Remember, much of the community we serve are combating a variety of individual problems from substance abuse to undiagnosed mental disorders. Behaviors among our guests can be unpredictable. We do have and enforce a code of conduct that requires guests to be respectful of others but it is impossible to respond to all issues preemptively.
If not there, try Restart at 8th & paseo.
I'm not real sure of what resources they have on hand there for furniture but I'm assuming they would align you with my father's house who does nothing but help people starting over obtain furniture hope that helps and they're wonderful people down there
7am to 2pm emergency-mon thru Friday. Saturday. No wait service for goods. No food pantry. Keith Lyons.
Yes they can
Hi Pamela, we are still operating outside.
Yes! Hope Faith accepts clothing donations at 705 Virginia Ave, Monday through Saturday from 8am-2pm.
If you drop your clothes off there they will wash them for you.
I believe it would be Kristi, the manager and person who started hope faith
They make an exception even if the clothes closet isn't open
Report the incident to Ms.Kristy she is head of operations at hope and faith
Try Catholic social services or salvation army.
There is also assistance available to obtain a valid ID and birth certificate, the homeless can use the facility as a mailing address to assist in obtaining employment or social assistance such as food stamps. There is a computer lab available for job searches and a transitional internship program available. Clothing assistance is available and some people who are transitioning into housing may qualify to obtain furniture as part of the furniture ministry. There are also medical and dental programs and assistance with diaper needs through partnerships Hope Faith Ministries have made.
Yes they extremely friendly, I've met so many of them. The only times they aren't friendly is if you are doing something you aren't supposed to
When I left in July 2021 they were open from 6;30-2 Monday thru Wednesday and Friday and Saturday. They close at 1 on Thursday.
If you mean security yes, they have several security officers and generally you have to go through a bag Check at entrance unless You're volunteering
