Chris and Shayla are the best ever! I called Chris about a potentially cracked screen and he was so kind and informative that I hopped in the car and drove 12 miles into the store to see if he could help me! Chris was with a customer and Shayla stepped in and it turns out, it was just my screen protector!. Shayla put a new one on for me and she truly is a perfect perfectionist. That's what it takes to be good at what she does! She also made the decision to give the sale to Chris because he was the reason I came in. I was really touched by the two of them. What a wonderful team! The environment in this store was so welcoming. I would refer anyone to AT&T Newport, OR! Go Chris and Shayla!

This was a completely different experience than it was a year ago. Greg has facilitated many good changes to workflow and customer service. He was very helpful and was also polite. Shayla used to be the only good representative, but It seems that Greg is working hard on improving the store.

Today I went into our local AT&T store in Newport, OR to ask if my plan included international calling. The store was empty. The “Manager” immediately asked before I said a word, do you have an appointment? He asked with a very rude tone to his voice. I said no but I was wondering if he could just tell me if my plan included international calling. He said if you have unlimited. I said, so if I have unlimited I don’t have to pay extra for international calls? He snapped at me and said, that’s not what I said. I told him to forget it I was leaving. It was obvious that he didn’t want to help me. As I was walking out he said Ma’am, when you come into this store you need to be professional and not rude! I was shocked. I told him I was the customer and he needed to be the professional one, and that he was the rude one. I was fuming at this point. Mind you, this is where we buy our I-phones! I told him maybe I should have my husband talk to him. He followed me out the door and said let’s take this outside. All he was interested in doing was yelling at me. He didn’t let me say much. All he wanted to say was that I needed to act professional.We finally walked away from him!!
