I've been taking my Subaru here for service for years. Today, they told us it would be a $150 diagnostic fee to check on the horn that recently stopped working. Who knows how much it would cost to actually fix this vital equipment. Stewart Subaru never tried to gouge loyal customers like that. Two stars are to account for prior good service. Today's visit would be zero stars. If it happens again, you've lost a customer.

We were on a road trip away from home and our AC failed. We were traveling in July and the temperature was 95°. We arrived at McCurley Subaru late in the day… too late for a technician to service the air conditioner. The service manager went above and beyond to ensure that we were scheduled for first thing next day and suggested a hotel nearby and several restaurant choices. The following morning we were able to get the car in for service as promised. The courtesy driver took me back to the hotel and then when the car was done brought us back to the dealership with our luggage and dog. McCurley Subaru and the service team really saved our day and our trip. The AC repair was covered on warranty and we resumed our vacation.

*Update* It’s been 3 months since this issue and after 4 emails, 2 phone calls and I dealership visit, I’ve been given no help or response. I’ve been told the owner was “very busy” when I visited to pick up my license plates a month after purchase, but I’ve given up hope that any effort is being made to help. Looking at the amount of 1 star reviews, it’s clear that this dealership plays to the new car buyers while shuffling the rest of us through the system. I will tell anyone looking to purchase a Subaru or pre-owned car to look elsewhere. (Original post) Purchased a pre-owned car yesterday (2/14/2022) at McCurley Subaru, walked away with only 1 key (previous owner likely still has the other one), was told the car would be cleaned up for me when I came to pay and pick it up. The dash and seats were not properly cleaned and only had 1/4 of a tank when I drove off the lot. Bill, the salesman, was very accommodating however and did his best to explain the details of the sale and answered my questions to the best of his ability. Since it is a Honda, I will likely take it to Harvest Auto from now on.
