I worked at Water/s edge for 7 years. All the docs here are amazing. I enjoyed being part of the team. We tried to help as much as we could, with the resources at hand. If all you want is opioid pain meds, it's hard to help people. The interventional side is definitely top notch and rivals any clinic in Seattle. There is even a pain psychologist. Try finding that in a pain clinic on the West side. Only University of Washington offers the breadth of services we carried. A lot of the bad reviews posted are unfair, because we can not disclose any details to refute the review, due to privacy laws.

It took one month to get the phone call to schedule an appointment. One day before my appointment i got a phone call cancelling my appointment. She claimed the doctor wouldn't be back in the office until next week and that someone will call me sometime next week to reschedule. The day before? REALLY???? when your in pain you dont want to hear that your appointment you waited so long ago has been cancelled and who knows how long it will take to get in for another appointment.. This is called a monopoly and if there were another pain clinic in town i would tell you to go to hell and go elsewhere. Didn't even give me the option for another doctor. No response necessary!!!

I have suffered pain that I wish on no one after several hernia operations. Dr Ruiz is one of the most caring, though doctors i have ever had. The staff is great, I have only positive thing to say about these people . And the work they do. God bless them. Top shelf all the way.

This is a place that you do not want to be associated with. My doctor suggested it just to try an injection in my neck, which I had two surgeries and now a bone spur, so I tried it. It helped a little I guess. I had my follow up with Dr. Kim about a month later. I was pretty upset it didn’t do much. He mentioned about medication I told him he’ll no. He asked why, I do not want someone to make me piss in a cup and basically own me. I work for Memorial know how it all works. Once you walk through the door your labeled. A month after I saw him a horse had stepped on my foot. I went to Healthy Now, because my doctor didn’t have any appointments. My foot was very swollen and black and blue. It hurt so bad throbbing and possibly broken. I ask the PA if there is anything stronger besides ibuprofen and Tylenol. They told my there is nothing they can do, cause I went to the pain clinic. How fricking stupid I only went there for a fricken shot in my neck. Forget the stupid healthy Nows clinics and Waters edge. This is how you get treated just for walking through their doors 🤬😡
