If I could give this place zero stars I would. You are made to feel very unwelcome and you are very micromanaged. The store is extremely dirty with trash and bottles literally everywhere. They do have a selection of all kinds of retro things but they are way overpriced and with a little bit of research you can find what you are looking for a lot cheaper. I would not recommend this store at all because you can find what you want at another establishment with way better quality service.

The owner of this shop is from a different era. He is an ethical businessman and provides a personalized experience as you look through his singles. He doesn't throw a piece of paper at you and tell you "give me a list, you can't just look through my cards". This is how shops were back in the day and I miss this. I can't wait to come back on my next trip and visit for another paw through the archives. Thank you for staying open late for me and for the stories.

Located a block away from Kobey’s swap meet. The two times I tried to visit this place - both times the place was closed during their stated open business hours. I would give you “Zero” stars if Google would let me. Why even bother to be open when the place looks like a storage space more than a videogame store. There are better options locally in San Diego that are above and beyond this place.

This shop and owner is grimey and both have been an eyesore of the Point Loma community for over two decades now. Me and my buddies laugh at him and his store every few months. We used to go we were teenagers and play counterstrike when the previous owner Gary operated it and it was named "Club Lan" and actually kept it clean and respectable. As adults we tried going in few times to purchase games but quickly stopped once realized it went downhill. Way overpriced and dirty as all the reviews have stated. Several instances homeless were in there hanging out. It is truly a mystery how it has stayed in business this long. However once I did see the owner at Target during a Black friday sale buying 20 copies of the same game for half off, just to sell it for full price at his store. Dont support this.

Yes they are, I was there last week. Make sure to tell the owner what exactly you're looking for or wanting to browse. He's really nice but with covid he can't have people walking around the store willy nilly. And they only allow one person at a time.

Do they do drafts for MTG?
