My wife and I have lived here for a little over 9 years now and we are very pleased with our unit, the neighborhood, and the hardworking staff (Ed, Greg, and Maureen). Our two-bedroom townhouse is very accommodating, spacious and nicely updated. The kitchen has plenty of cabinet space and features brand-new stainless-steel appliances. Across from the kitchen is the in-unit washer and dryer, both newly installed. The living room/dining room space is roomy, bathed in natural light from the large patio windows/door, and offers a nice walk-in storage space. Out the patio door, you have a nice flat concrete pad for grilling hot dogs and hamburgers or just relaxing with family and friends. Back inside and upstairs are the two bedrooms (complete with large closets) that are definitely above average in terms of space. Also upstairs, you'll find two full bathrooms and a linen closet which is really nice. The neighborhood itself is tucked away from the hustle and bustle – it is very peaceful, expansive, and well-maintained year-round. In the spring and summer the lawn and flower beds are professionally tended to and the swimming pool is always ready and waiting for you to take a dip. When winter rears its ugly head, the sidewalks, parking spaces, and main driveway are shoveled, plowed and salted. The neighborhood is very friendly and welcoming to you, your family, and your dogs or cats. Our Scottish Terrier, Hope, loves taking walks around the property! If you have kids, the West Jefferson Hills School District is one of the best in the state. Last but certainly not least, the staff: They are extremely hard-working, friendly and responsive to your needs. If something comes up, Ed and Greg are there within 24 hours and in most cases, they get it fixed for you that same day. As an example, our in-unit dryer kicked the bucket on a Sunday and it was replaced Tuesday morning! The leasing manager, Maureen, is very friendly, knowledgeable, and is always willing to help and answer your questions. Verdict: Great place to live, raise a family and relax! So if you are looking to put down roots in the South Hills, I’d definitely recommend looking into Payne Hill Townhomes.

We’re stayed here for 3 years & it has been nothing but a positive experience! The Payne Hill staff are all very friendly. Maureen always keeping all of us informed through email. The maintenance crew always keeping the whole apartment complex well kept in the summer with flowers, cleaning the pool & in the winter with cleaning the snow, putting salt etc. The list of things they do goes on & on. Ed always professional, always on top of all the maintenance. This place is for everyone even children & pets! We really loved this place it was quiet, safe, friendly community, & everything was so close! Overall it was a loving experience with Payne Hill, we would of kept living here but due to work we had to relocate. Thank you so much Payne Hill crew!

I have lived at Payne Hill for almost 20 years, and I must say, it has been a wonderful experience. I would never continue to renew for this long if it were anything otherwise. The maintenance staff, Ed and Greg, do an excellent job keeping the property looking good, maintaining the pool in the summer, and removing snow and ice in the winter. They are always quick to respond to any issues that may affect the entire complex or individual units. In the office, Maureen is always extremely helpful and kind. Through emails or phone calls, she is always quick to provide the residents with all relevant information. The rent increases throughout the years have been relatively minor compared to similar units in the area. I have always felt that I was getting a great deal in price based on the quality of Payne Hill. I would strongly recommend Payne Hill to anyone, especially if you have children or pets.

My husband and I are so grateful we found this place. It’s a wonderful community and we love living here. The upkeep is great and we appreciate the privacy compared to a regular apartment. Our own entrance and washer and dryer in unit are big pluses in our book. Some reviews mention the noisy hvac system but we have had no issues with the sound and think that those reviews are exaggerating. Of course there will be noise but it’s normal for what it is and a non-issue. The community here is quiet and respectful and the townhomes are nice and clean. Management is great and communicative and they deal with issues in a timely manner which is another plus. Thanks Payne Hill Townhomes!
