I was so sad to see this trail! After paying $11 entrance fee and $4 to use the trail, I found barely one or 2 flowers. I don't mind paying entrance fees when it goes to maintain the lake and the trail, but it makes me really sad how we are destroying everything with the climate change, you could see the lines of the lake water going down. The trail is a 2 miles loop, and it has some rest areas with benches where you can take a view of the city on one side, and the lake on the other. Watch out for rattlesnakes!

Really nice walk. Not a huge elevation change and fairly wide trail. Tons of caterpillars and lizards on the trail, along with an abundance of wild flowers. We also saw a Heron and dozens of trout at the marina. Parking is $10 and trail is $3 per person. Great day!

Absolutely gorgeous!! A bit of a steep walk uphill, but absolutely worth it!! Would absolutely recommend coming here with a loved one to enjoy the view, or heck even by yourself! A real treat and hidden gem here!! :)

This place has a nice trail around a good size lake that you can explore year round. There is a nice wildflower bloom on the end of the lake closest to the boat launch and parking. It was $10 per car to park, and there was an additional charge of $3 per person to walk the wildflower trail (they were checking for proof of payment about a quarter mile up the trail). It was enjoyable if quite busy. If you're willing to walk further in (i recommend it!) then you'll get away from the weekend crowds and be rewarded with a little quiet while taking in the views. The combination of the lake and wildflower bloom make this one pretty special. We visit several blooms in southern California every year, and I think this location is special for the lake.
