I give it a 3 only because April is the ONLY original person left"and she tries" since this new owner took over. Whoever bought this place let it go to waste. No soil, hardly any nutrients on the shelves. Light selection and supplies little to nothing left. It's sad really. The new owner is clueless and will soon be bankrupt. Let me know when you want to sell everything inside. Update as of 08/20/19 Place still lacks quality service. Still no soil, and I have been as well as other's to see if they're just full of it"or don't like be questioned ". Selection of products are still slim picking and overpriced for much of what is left from previous owner. You guy's did yourself a disservice by firing the staff that was there the way you did. Karma is now nipping at your heels and you still don't have quality stock, and a better supporting staff.

Very willing to help. Smaller location so when they sell out of something it takes a bit longer to get in especially before a weekend. They are very knowledgeable and will help with any questions you have.

My name is Pat Riggin, I bought this computer used so the wrong name shows up. Even though I am in AZ and their stores are all in Cali, I order almost everything from DH. They run great specials, and their customer service over the phone is great. They also helped me out once when I first got cancer.....I had a fan failure and couldn't afford a new one. I would have lost all my plants because I wouldn't have been able to run my lights without them....also I had just been diagnosed with Breast and Lymph Node Cancer and I didn't have any money.Michael Hess, the GM at the Riverside store overnighted me a new 8 inch fan, several quality bulbs, and some nutrients. They treated me like family; and I will never forget it. So not only do they have great selection at great prices, they are just really great people.They will always have my business. They helped me when I needed it, I would love to be able to meet them someday.
