Gail was very polite & helpful in answering any questions we had. She stayed pass closing time to help us. Cats are well taken care of there.

I have been associated with Room 8 for over 10 years. They are a caring facility for aging cats who are left behind by a loved one who has passed or can no longer take care of them. Gail Shelton is an amazing woman who has dedicated her life to saving and caring for these cats as well as abandoned, found or lost kittens.

I drove 1 1/2 hours to adopt a cat that my girlfriend had seen and liked. When I showed up to adopt her, I was rudely told I am not allowed to adopt the cat of my choice. When I asked why I was told that “I was going to sacrifice her, and that I had come in the day before and told them I was going to declaw the cat”. This is completely absurd and definitely NOT TRUE! Also this is a very bad way to treat customers. The manager of the organization Gail was VERY rude and snappy with me. And when I asked her to please not be rude to me, I was scolded and told “that’s not what I’m doing”. All in total I do not recommend going thru Room 8. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! Would give 0 stars if I could !!

My husband and I have three beautiful cats that we adopted from Room 8. Gail is a wonderful lady who is passionate about her work. The cattery is a happy and safe place for cats and kittens. Gail and her team go above and beyond to try and help every cat that comes in. If you are looking for a place to volunteer or adopt check out Room 8!

Did you find a place for the kitten?
Call Room 8 and they can talk to you about your options, if they have room, other cat rescues, etc.
Where is mother and babies now
Call Mary S Roberts it’s a Pet Adoption for animals in Riverside. They might have room for them or please let me know. Do you live in Moreno Valley, I do. I would like to see pictures of them to help further. How old are they now? I don’t want to put my phone number on the page but I can meet with you on a day off somewhere, so we can talk more. Please let me know, thanks. I will try and see if I can take them in too.
I know what you mean, l'm looking for a place to foater 5 of my cats until l find me a larger apt, so l can have them back with me, l don't want to give them up either.
Yes they work with all cats, kittens, ferals. Just an amazing organization.
I would call and ask about it in the morning. I know a lot of shelters and rescues are swamped right now because the San Bernardino shelter is closing though. They are very helpful and if they can't help they can direct you to someone who can.
Does it cost if they come pick them up?
Call and ask for Gail, she'll be able to tell you
My name is Susan, I can ask and try to find help with the kittys. I don’t want to put my phone number and address on this page. Can we set up a agreement to meet some where. What color are the kitty’s? Just curious.
You can call animal control. They will pick her up. Room 8 is full and unable to take her right now.
