When I was a little girl my dad had a saltwater aquarium and I loved trips to Sand Bar to pick out a new fish. Years later, my son decided to get an aquarium and we went to a few “tropical fish” stores but ended up buying everything at Sand Bar. Andrew was so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with my son. I’m also really happy to see they don’t have dogs for sale anymore. They really seem to have healthy animals and prices were similar or better than everywhere else we went. (My son is spending his own money and learning to budget!)

Sandbar is such a GREAT little pet store with a really great and informed staff. Since starting my aquarium journey the staff has been so happy to walk me through steps and give me GREAT advice for unique fish. I was able to get my platinum senegal bicher (Shiro) and dinosaur bicher (Niflheim) for a BEYOND amazing price. They've grown so fast and get along so well! Just check Shiro out noshing on a worm! But don't let me just stop at fish! Their selection and resources for lizards, snakes and more makes this a one stop shop for those in the market for unique pets! If you're in the area, stop by! My wife and I stop by for EVERYTHING from frozen rat to fish, plants and more. Everyone is so kind and more than happy to help and inform.
