What a nice state park with an incredible interpretive center. So well done and informative. The grounds were kept up and it made for a great family visit.

This is a great place to visit. The ranger was very knowledgeable. Today the American Empress was docked there, was an awesome sight to see.

Beautiful park. You do have to pay to get in, $10 day pass or free for a year with $30 discover pass, but you can buy the discover pass at the interpretive center. Also, since you have to pay the park is pretty quite almost private. The interpretive center is really neat, the layout is pleasant and the staff are friendly and informative, and they seem to have a number of public events. The park bathrooms were unkempt but, they had the essentials.

You have to pay to get in. Bonus there's less people. Less people means more seaweed. A bit of shade near the water. Bathrooms nearest the water dead-bolted. Lots of duck poop but less than I remember from years back. Swimming area indicated by buoys nice.
