Over the years I have loved visiting the little mountain town of Julian but one does not experience it's unique bounty of beauty and style without stepping into the Mountain Gypsy. The little store has expanded since my last visit a few years ago. Their amazing selection of gemstone jewelry dazzles my senses. I have always walked out with the perfect piece for myself or gift for others without breaking my budget. Yesterday was no different...I found an exquisite mix of Lapis Lazuli and Aquamarine gemstones set in a sterling silver ring that was just my size. Their clothing line is geared more toward women than men but my husband didn't mind a bit as he chatted with Indian James about their ancestral connections.
