I am so happy with the work I got done on my wedding band with BGS Jewelers. We bought my wedding band at an antique shop on Grand Ave, I have been looking for the perfect wedding band to match my engagement ring for at least three years now. The band was a size 7 and I needed to size up to 9. After going to several jewelers I finally found BGS Jewelers, I spoke with Maria who was so kind, patient, and very helpful with all my questions. She even was able to tell me the color and clarity grade, which no one else was able to do. Because of the style of the band she explained the process of how they would resize it. The price she quoted me was less than I was expecting to pay and it was ready in 24 hours! When I went to pick it up I got to meet and chat with the owner who is such a cool guy. I could not have asked for a better experience. They will be my go to jewlers for all my future needs.

I was gifted a very special medal after my grandma passed away a couple of weeks ago and needed to get it reinforced since it's a 60+ year old piece of jewelry and the ring where the necklace goes through was thinning. I looked all over San Diego to find the perfect place where they'll treat it with so much care since it's such a big piece for me, it's an heirloom. I talked to Wayne, brought him the medal and he was super honest and explained to me what he was going to do to it, he was clear about the risks and possible outcomes after treating the medal but assured me he will take care of it and I'll be happy. Something about his energy gave me the peace of mind that even if there's a risk for darkening he would do his absolute best to prevent it. He put a hook where the new necklace could pass through and honestly he did magic. I can't even describe what he did because it feels like magic. Well, what can I say? I cried when I saw the end result. He brought a 60+ year medal back to life! Thank you Wayne.

I went to BGS looking to repair my wife’s ring. I didn’t (still don’t) know anything about rings. Wayne was very patient and gave a lot of information. He went above and beyond on the repair and cleanup and delivered quicker than expected. My wife and I are very happy with the result.

After a few unfortunate mistakes by my regular jeweler (a well known shop in RB), I found myself looking for another jeweler closer to home in escondido. I am very pleased to say that the reviews for BGS are wonderfully accurate in their 5 star praise. Maria at the counter was professional and kind. The jeweler who made my repairs (a lost stone in my wedding band and a couple of rings sized up to fit) did a flawless job and quickly at that. The prices were reasonable and they took some old, broken gold jewelry and applied that to my purchase price. I will take any future jewelry needs to this lovely, local, small business.
