I love the theme of the place! My father, younger brother and husband are all musicians. So I loved the music memorabilia. The overhead radio was playing good bluegrass/folk music. I was working so I asked for a quick and easy grilled cheese. It was four cheeses and so delicious! The menu says five but I didn't want the pepper jack cheese on mine. It came with kettle chips and a side. I got bbq chips and baked beans. They were so good! I will stop there any time I'm in that area!

Checked out Plain Folk Cafe after church this morning, for breakfast, in Pleasant Plain. This is an awesome roadside diner in an old schoolhouse from 1913. A quaint place with delicious food, and amazing homemade jam to go with the delicious biscuits. I had the Hippy Hash and hubby had Smothered Southern Stack; both were delicious. What a great spot for breakfast. We rode our motorcycle here for breakfast and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and the food was great. I had the Hippie Hash. I highly recommend it. We will be back for lunch.
