Pros: beautiful views of the ocean, kind locals, good eateries, free parking, The Imperial Beach Pier, not crowded, Nice Rocky Pier/Cliffs Cons: seaweed all over the beach and not exaggerating, swarms of flies hovering over each seaweed pile. Not aesthetically pleasing for a beach

A close special place in my Heart when I stick my foot in that cold water here all I feel is the warm water from my home island of GUAM USA.(both in the Pacific Ocean) Imperial Beach Pier is a beautiful family hangout area besides the obvious water activities there are shops and restaurants and lively hangouts all up and done this small area that can be affordably enjoyed. Never a bad time at the beach! Only bad thing about this place is it’s proximity to Mexico. Unfortunately the pollution often “closes” this area of the southern California coast. I enjoy the small town vibe from the people here.

Of course they do! Coronado and IB. They got bikes for rent. Go to the pawn shop and buy you one for less than it would cost you for 3-day rental
